New member in our portfolio: Ultrimis NEO – The ultrasonic water meter of the future! We are pleased to introduce the Ultrimis NEO – this state-of-the-art ultrasonic water meter will be available in series from January 2025 (Q3:4). The Ultrimis NEO is produced by Apator Powogaz SA, a leading manufacturer in the industry, and we are already packing the meters and shipping them directly to our customers from January!
Recycling concept

Our recycling concept for remanufacturing diaphragm gas meters. Sustainability not only conserves resources, but also offers our customers economic benefits and short-term availability of our gas meters. We therefore rely on proven reconditioning processes, which we have been using in large quantities since 1965:
The reuse of the housing, measuring mechanism and totalizer for diaphragm gas meters. On request, we upgrade the meters with smart totalizers, such as the encoder or Cyble, and thus make the gas meter suitable for connection to SMGW. With our recycling process, we achieve the following goals: short-term availability, sustainability, “green production” (energy-saving remanufacturing), resource conservation, compliance with the Circular Economy Act 2020, DIN 14001 certification (recycling concept with sensible recovery)
optimized profitability.
Today’s legislation requires extensive conformity, which we ensure in our recycling process. Our refurbished GÜZ diaphragm gas meters meet the following conformity requirements:

Specialist training at Pipersberg

A successful specialist training course on site! Last week, a specialist training course was held at Pipersberg together with the DVGW Bergisches Land district group. Our training offered numerous insights into our product portfolio. We fortified ourselves with burgers and an additional highlight was a visit to the Pipersberg tower with a view of Cologne Cathedral! We were very pleased about the exciting discussions. Sharing our knowledge with each other was also a lot of fun! Many thanks to our participants for the successful event!
City cycling

Three active weeks are behind us! From May 18 to June 7, 2024, our #teampipersberg was busy cycling in this year’s city cycling competition. Our 27 participants achieved 7th place out of a total of 92 registered teams by riding 6,140 kilometers! This enabled an additional 1,019.2 kg of CO2 to be avoided. Not only were kilometers diligently collected – our motivated employees also actively contributed to environmental protection! This year, we are supporting the campaign by planting new trees. We will be there again next year!
IFAT: Our review of an exciting week in Munich!

Last week at IFAT, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, was a complete success! We made many new contacts, exchanged ideas, gathered many new impressions and had great conversations! Thank you very much for visiting our stand and for the many interesting discussions!
Annual conference
Today we are exhibiting at the annual conference of the Central German regional groups of the DVGW and BDEW in Halle! Lea Röser and André Fahrig will be available on site until tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you!

Cycling for a good cause

Last year, our also took part in the “STADTRADELN” city competition.
With a total of 5,184 kilometers driven, we achieved 12th place (out of 65)!
Once again, we have set ourselves the internal team target of planting 300 new young trees.
We are already looking forward to this year’s participation in City Cycling 2024!
